Braille Training Cell

A teaching aid for reading and writing braille, with large 6 mm buttons that push up and down. One cell, or eight cells for words. Flat or round buttons, in a hard case with TPU inserts or a fully flexible case.

For learners with visual impairments, and for every class to learn how braille works.

Design by 3D Printy on Printables, shared under CC0 1.0 (public domain). The files and photos are the designer's, unchanged.

1. Print buttons in PLA and flexible parts in soft TPU (92A or softer). Cases print upside down, without supports.
2. On a single-material printer, pause before the bridging layer and insert the TPU gasket.
3. Children set letters and their names, then read each other's words by touch.
