Human Heart Anatomy Model

A one-piece model of the human heart with its major vessels: aorta, vena cava, and the pulmonary arteries and veins. Print it in one colour and paint it, red for oxygen-rich blood and blue for oxygen-poor.

Use it to trace the path of blood through the heart and lungs and to talk about how the heart works as a double pump.

1. Print with supports; it is a single, organic shape.
2. Students paint the oxygen-rich and oxygen-poor sides in different colours.
3. Trace a red blood cell's journey: body → right atrium → right ventricle → lungs → left atrium → left ventricle → body.
