About this print
A detailed model of NASA's Perseverance rover, which landed in Jezero crater on Mars in February 2021, with its rocker-bogie wheels, mast and instruments as separate parts.
A long, shared build for a class or club: each group prints and assembles a subsystem, then learns what it does (mobility, power, cameras, sampling arm).
Design by xchgre on Printables, shared under CC0 1.0 (public domain). The files and photos are the designer's, unchanged.
Printing and using it
- Use the list of objects and the assembly guides from the original page (linked under "Original design").
- Split the parts between groups by subsystem.
- Each group presents its subsystem: what it does on Mars and why it is designed that way.
