About this print

Piet Hein's 1933 puzzle: seven pieces made of small cubes that fit together into a 3 × 3 × 3 cube in 240 different ways. A file of the finished cube is included as a hint.

Great for spatial thinking and volume: 27 small cubes in all.

Printing and using it

  1. Print each piece in a different colour: 0.2 mm, 10% infill, no supports.
  2. Count the small cubes in each piece; check they add up to 27.
  3. Build the cube, then other figures (a staircase, a tower), and draw them from three views.
