About this print
The classic seven-piece Chinese puzzle: five triangles, a square and a parallelogram that make a square, and hundreds of other shapes.
It builds spatial reasoning and the vocabulary of shapes, and older children can work out the area of each piece as a fraction of the whole.

Printing and using it
- Print a set per pair, in one or several colours.
- Start with outlines (a cat, a house, a boat), then make the square.
- Older children: if the square is 1, what is each piece worth?
