What is Quadratics Quest?
Quadratics Quest is a focused, rigorous algebra drill application designed to help students master the skill of factorising quadratic equations. Presented as a clean, digital chalkboard, the app strips away distractions and generates procedurally sequenced algebraic problems. It validates user inputs through a robust parsing engine, offering immediate feedback to reinforce structural comprehension of binomials.
Mathematical Perspectives
This module targets fluency in algebraic manipulation, specifically the relationship between expanded polynomials and their factored forms.
Procedural Scaffolding
The engine automatically scales difficulty as the student progresses through the 10-equation quest. It intentionally introduces foundational problems (like negative squared terms) before scaffolding up to subtraction complexities and ultimately difference of squares.
Mathematical Equivalence
The background parsing engine verifies answers using mathematical equivalence rather than strict string matching. This allows students to type x+2 and 2+x or swap the order of the brackets without being incorrectly penalized for formatting variations.
Deterministic Problem Codes
Every sequence of 10 problems is tied to a 4-letter alphanumeric "Puzzle Code" visible in the top-right.
