About

What is the 3D Randomizer Pro?

The 3D Randomizer Pro is a visually engaging probability engine that simulates physical random events in a
3D environment. Designed to replace standard flat-text random number generators, it features accurate,
physics-based roll animations for standard dice, coins, playing cards, and a Magic 8-Ball. It acts as both a
functional utility and a statistical teaching tool for exploring concepts of chance and expected value.

Mathematical Perspectives

This module focuses entirely on the statistical nature of randomness, probability models, and data
aggregation.

Independent Events
By spawning multiple objects simultaneously (e.g., rolling 5 dice at once), students can observe
independent events. The outcome of one die does not affect the others, a foundational rule in
calculating combined probabilities.

Expected Value & Aggregation
The Statistics panel on the right continuously tracks aggregate data across your
session. Students can verify the Law of Large Numbers by observing that the total "Dice Sum" divided
by the "Total Rolls" (for single die rolls) slowly approaches the theoretical expected value of 3.5
over time.

Sample Spaces
The tool visualizes different uniform probability models. A coin has a sample space of 2 (50% chance
each), a die has a space of 6 (16.6% chance each), and a playing card draws from a space of 52.
Flipping multiple coins allows students to track the binomial distribution of Heads vs. Tails in the
log.
